No. One of the main advantages of aluminum domes is their natural resistance to corrosion. They do not require painting or regular surface maintenance throughout their operational life, which significantly reduces maintenance costs compared to steel roofs.
The installation time depends on the size of the dome and local conditions, but thanks to prefabricated elements and lightweight construction, it is much shorter than for traditional steel roofs. Typically, installing a large dome takes from a few to several days.
