Folding Stairs

The main element of the system, allowing the operator to safely descend from the platform to the tanker roof. Available in various sizes and configurations:

  • 3-step stairs: For lower tankers or smaller height differences.
  • 4-step stairs: Standard solution for most tankers.
  • Other sizes: Ability to customize the number of steps to specific needs.

The stairs are equipped with a balancing mechanism (e.g., spring-loaded) to facilitate lowering and lifting, and with non-slip steps.

Safety Cages

A structure surrounding the stairs and the working area around the tanker manhole, providing protection against falls from a height. We design safety cages taking into account individual requirements:

  • Various sizes and shapes, adapted to the station and type of tankers serviced.
  • Equipped with bumpers to protect the tanker from damage.
  • Compliant with the requirements of ISO 14122-3 for guard-rails and protective structures.

Mobile Modules

Mobile work platforms providing flexibility and the ability to service multiple loading stations. Ideal solution for terminals with limited space or variable station configuration.

  • Wheel system: Heavy-duty industrial wheels with bearings, designed for high loads and frequent movement.
  • Rail system: Rail guidance for precise positioning and stability during operation.
  • Brake system: Safety locks and parking brakes ensuring stability during use.
  • Applications: Service of rail tankers, road tankers, loading stations in various locations.

Access Platforms and Support Structures

To ensure stable and safe mounting of stairs and cages, we design and manufacture:

  • Stationary platforms: Steel structures (galvanized or painted) serving as a working platform on which the stairs are mounted.
  • Support structures: Adapted to existing infrastructure (e.g., mounting to existing gangways).

Technical Specifications

  • Standards: Design and execution compliant with ISO 14122-3:2016, relevant OSH regulations, and the Machinery Directive (if applicable).
  • Materials:
    • Platform and cage structures: Structural steel (hot-dip galvanized or painted), optionally stainless steel or aluminum.
    • Stair steps: Galvanized steel (non-slip grating), checker plate aluminum.
  • Balancing Mechanism: Tension or gas springs (selected according to the weight of the stairs).
  • Finishing: Anti-corrosion protection (galvanizing, painting), colors according to RAL palette.
  • Options: Locks for rest and working positions, position sensors, lighting.
